Hospice Southland’s volunteers are known as Volunteer Talent – people who bring their skills, compassion, and life experience to support hospice care in our community.
Volunteer Talent contribute in many ways, from supporting patients and families to helping in hospice shops, assisting with events, or sharing specialised skills.

A community supporting care.
Our hospice shops are more than retail spaces – they are community hubs where generosity is transformed into care.
Quality donated goods are thoughtfully sorted and resold, creating a circular model of support. Each purchase, each donated item, and each volunteer shift helps fund hospice services across our region.
